DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Refinished floors in living, dining room, 3 bedrooms (which had been under carpet) and staircase.
COMMENTS: Arrived the day they were scheduled. Took slightly longer than estimated, but we also changed the requirements to add more work (staining). Chicagoland Flooring was very easy to work with and helpful. He found and odd crack in one of the boards 2 weeks later and he sent someone over to fill the crack for free.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: They refinished hardwood floors in two bedrooms, living room and dining room.
COMMENTS: The owner was helpful and upfront about options for old pet stains in floorboards. He communicated the process well. We were able to test several shades of stain to determine the appropriate one. The project did take one day longer than planned, but we had good results. His team was courteous.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: We had our whole house and staircase done with solid oak (approximately 2,500 sq. ft).
COMMENTS: Chicagoland Flooring were courteous, professional and very responsive. They took great care to wait for the humidity level to dry out in our new construction, before installing the 3' oak plank. Did a superb job and kept the house clean. I had no problem giving the foreman our house key, since they stored their tools at our home. I highly recommend this contractor.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Several tiles in my parquet floor came loose as a result of a water leak. Chicagoland flooring was able to trim and reset them as well as repair a few other in the room.
COMMENTS: The end result is a very satisfactory repair without having to remove all the furniture and refinish all the floors. The person who actually did the work was competent, polite and left everything in immaculate condition.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Three rooms were stripped and refinished. The floors especially in one room where water damaged and had many screws which had apparently been put in to relieve squeaking. The owner returned my call quickly after my original inquiry and he followed up with a personal visit for an estimate; the work was scheduled for the next week. Workers came when expected, and the owner stopped by to check on the progress and to show me the results of several stains on the stripped wood. I chose wax rather than a varnished finish and the shine did not appear even in the reflected light. His worker came back the following Monday and worked for hours. The owner himself joined them later and worked for hours until it seemed perfect. He is a delightful young man, a pleasure to know and work with.
COMMENTS: Chicagoland flooring did a great job on my floors. The owner is a very personable young man who is easy to work with and follows through on what he says. The floors are beautiful and the workers were friendly, polite and very respectful. It was a great experience. The fee was reasonable, cleanup was through, and there were no surprises. I definitely would use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Company pulled up existing carpeting in two bedrooms. Installed and sealed new hardwood flooring and trim.
COMMENTS: The owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure we understood all the details of installing new flooring in our house including the possible mess and dust. The workers were prompt and the final product is spectacular. He has also gone out of his way to educate us on the proper care of our floors. I highly recommend his services.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Sanded kitchen and kitchen hall wood floors. Applied 3 coats of finish and top-coat. Re-coated stairs from 1st to 2nd floor.
COMMENTS: Chicagoland Flooring was on time and laid out the options clearly. The 2 workers protected the house from sanding dust. Job was prompt and well-done.

COMMENTS: The owner was very enthusiastic about his work and provided us with a lot of information up front, his team was clean and prompt and seemed to work efficiently; there were ad couple of areas that we were not satisfied with when the job was done, he came and looked at them and had them taken care of promptly.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Estimate given for carped removal and hardwood floor refinishing for 4 rooms.
COMMENTS: Very prompt in returning e-mail and came out at the correct time to give estimate. Very through, professional and gave good advice for the 4 rooms that I wanted refinished. I did ultimately go with someone else because I had 2 friends recommended another company, plus the other company came in at lower cost.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: They repaired 90 year old vintage floors in a condo; cracked floor boards
COMMENTS: It was a terrific experience! They gave a written estimate before the work was done and came in under the estimate. They also came a day later to restain to match the other boards since the stain I picked didn't quite match. They always came right on time.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Sanded and refinished parquet wood floor in large living room/dining room and master bedroom. Replaced some parquet tiles that were stained.
COMMENTS: Chicagoland Flooring crew are amazing. I never thought our floors could look so beautiful! Tow of my neighbors had their floors done, and they paid more and the work isn't as good. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
